I'm thinking this is going to be one of those 'local' tours, where he only does a few appearances up in the Maine/New Hampshire areas and an appearance on GMA or Today Show since it was stated before that he wasn't doing anything this year. I'll just keep the cheesecake in the freezer and the tea sealed in the tin till next year!

He's been here at least twice -- I saw him in 1988 when he toured with Don Robertson in support of The Ideal Genuine Man and again on his 11/22/63 tour.
I would have loved to meet the two of them together as Robertson is one of my favorite authors, too! I used to live in Pasadena, Texas (isn't one of King's books dedicated to the patrons and staff of the Pasadena Library? Library Policemen, maybe?) and I think that was one of their stops?

Nice variety of cities on the tour. I'm a bit surprised about the midwest. DC is closest to me, but there will probably be a mob there. If it's not a bookstore chain then maybe it's at "Politics and Prose" which is a very small place that does a ton of signings. I hope this is a buy the new book but get any book signed type of event.

Still working that all out but should have answers for you by Sept. 15th.
