I am currently working on a book trailer for my first book, Evils Sanctum. Has anyone else done one of these and if so, could you share a little about its success/flop. I hope to post it on You Tube to help promote my book.

I'm not a fan of them, to tell the truth, but maybe I'm the wrong demographic. Marketing did both of mine, and I suppose they did okay (how does one measure the success of a trailer?), but I just don't get them at all.
I just launched my first You Tube video promoting my first book, Evils Sanctum, thought I would share the link. Hoping that it's cool and this is the right location. Noir?
I have a book trailer on You Tube, it's hard to get people to view it.
Thanks so much for the feed back everyone. I was very nervous about sending it out into the world. I am hoping it gets a lot of looks. Making it was a lot of fun, with just enough frustration and stress to make it exciting to see in finished form.

I want to thank everyone for their responses. I am in the thinking stage for the book trailers for my first series of books, the Coeur D'Alene series, anyone know where I can film a Red Dragon in flight? Something in Oregon preferably. The second in the series Coming Home Part 1 is due out on the 14th of this month.
Thanks Bryan. My nephew did the sound track for me, he is currently working on a self made zombie video to post to You tube. It's pretty gory so far.
