What do you use for a bookmark? I remember two things my mom used to use. A folded piece of the foil from a cigarette package. (Not sure if Americans will know what I mean.) Or a folded paper from a piece of dentyne chewing gum.

We sure do!
I currently use nothing as I read almost exclusively on a Kindle. No need for a bookmark. :frog:
I remember as a kid we used to snip off one of the bottom corners of an envelope at an angle and use that for a bookmark. Nothing as creative as these, but this is what I am talking about:

I use the tag off a clothing purchase...like one of these.

I wasn't sure if cigarettes had the same foil around then there.

Here are some bookmarks my granddaughter made. I helped her with folding the first one and she did the rest.

The dream catcher is for her step mom who is native. The fox is a thank you gift to my sister for giving her a bunch of cross stitch kits. The decorating was all her own, not from any picture.
