I'd like to go back to Derry again...IT: the complete uncut version. The Dark Tower update idea is also intriguing; books 5-7 need some work.

I'd also like to see him write more non-fiction, like an updated Danse Macabre, or some sort of memoir.

That said, I've been quite pleased with him following his muse wherever it takes him.

I have just been rereading Danse Macabre. It is so enjoyable. I want to know if he has seen Peter Jackson's Heavenly Creatures, and if so, did he like it. Yeah, an updated version would be great. So much has happened since it come out. The book and film scene has changed a lot, especially in the horror genre. Tired of vampires, for one.

or ten, for that matter...wished I owned a chocolate factory. Do you like Whittakers or Cadbury's more, FlakeNoir?
Hmm... I do love the Cadbury F.Noir bars but haven't seen that one around for a looooong time now. I think I might actually like Whittaker's a bit better. (the slabs are good) The Dark Almond is great too.

Yes, I think Whittakers has a better taste. I don't remember those F.Noir bars, you don't mean the Luxury Flake do you?? Still any chocolate will do in a squeeze...just about!!

I could make up some idea about what I would like Mr. SK to write, but then they'd be my ideas, I like his stuff cuz it's his ideas...so...I will say though that I hope he keeps on with different types of work. I like that he will have a horror story, then a little crime paperback, and then some book about some writer every few books or so, and maybe inter dimensional monsters mixed in...I like the variety, as opposed to the same thing told a different way over and over. I can only stand it so much to read the exact same type of books from a writer one after the next.

Yes, I hope he keeps up with his sense of variety, otherwise I'm just pleased to get what I get.

I feel like 1408 was sort of a haunted house type of thing. I love that one. Still spooks me.

I havn't read 1408. I wanted to but forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder :)

Rose Red? It wasn't written by King, but it was marketed that way.

John

I loved Rose Red :) but its not the story I'm thinking about. The story I'm thinking about reminded me of the Winchester house.
