....I would have been proud to follow the family tradition(Gpa was a Doc), but too many beers and not enough maturity at the time...

Yeah, this to some extent. But then again, I might not have met Grandma because I'd be too busy with other things.

Me.... if I'd had a work ethic growing up and in high school. I don't know if I would've been a doctor or a lawyer (my grandmother wanted me to be a lawyer), but that was the cutting edge time of computers, which I was interested in, and I think I could've achieved more faster.

    Too many uncertainties to say.

That's the rub. If you change one thing you change just about everything and you never know how it will end up. Better? Worse?

    Thank you!

Uhhh, the thought of getting a prostate exam from someone with hands your size is scary. And a little exciting. :p

If only there was a time bubble where I could go back and stop the JFK assassination. It would work out great, I think!

That was a trippy disturbing movie. Message: do the right thing the first time around.

Funny story. When my husband first met my OB - all he said to me was "Why would you pick a doctor with such big hands?". ;-D I never considered the man's size or how he looked. He treated me well and I felt confidant he'd take good care of me and the baby. But all the ogre could see was his big hands.

I often think what would have been if I'd found a way to stay in school and go on to university. I was interested in library science. But things at home were just to a point that I felt I had to get out or drown. But, things have worked out fine. I have a wonderful hubby, great son and a part time job I love after years of jobs I hated but needed. So, things do indeed work themselves out.

I will always wish my mother had lived another 40 years, no question about it. But, if she had lived, would I have been able to move out and just leave her on her own? Or would I still be one of those grown-up guys living at home in his mother's basement?

Holy crap. Me too. Same year and everything. I blew a full scholarship to Ole Miss partying. Still would have been okay except for missing all those early morning algebra classes.
