We are KaTet and when one of us hurts, we all hurt. It's a season of love and kindness. Two of our Tet-Mates need to feel our love right now. Let's bring back some of the magic of Christmas into their lives.

I think the lyrics to this song express it better than I can....

To be humble, to be kind.
It is the giving of the peace in your mind.
To a stranger, To a friend
To give in such a way that has no end.
We are Love
We are One
We are how we treat each other when the day is done.
We are Peace
We are War
We are how we treat each other and Nothing More

Scott and Tracy, you are in our hearts and we send you LOVE.

...bless your heart Spidey...you needn't have done this....I just reached out in pain, not wishing to add to your load...thank you for your loving kindness and you as well Neesy...without going into detail, because I hurt to bad-my son will not be joining us for Christmas, to the best of my knowledge...he has chosen to spend his break from the Army with his girlfriend and her family...none of us have seen him since September, or heard from him in a couple of months-all over tales she has whispered into his ear to pit him against us...you know I'm certainly not one to put sorrow on display-I'm all about the goofiness, but the last few days have been hard with the loss of a dear friend and now an estrangement not of our making from my eldest son...we humbly ask for your love and kindness in this most hurtful of times...I'm sorry to seem so burdensome...

You're not burdensome brother, you're human, for better or worse. Your kid will come around and realize what he is doing eventually. He's invincible right now, army strong, independent, doesn't think he needs anything from anyone, thinks he knows best. We've both been there, head strong will be replaced by reason and he'll want his mom's cooking and his dad's firm hug and handshake sooner than you think. Hang in there, hug your wife, tell her everything is going to be ok, because it will. Merry Christmas sir, and stay safe.

...that's my "fire mission" today my brother...be there for her and my other kids...we all are a mess...but your kindnesses are certainly a salve to fresh wounds...so much love I have for each and everyone one of you...I need to go for now....but I take great comfort in knowing I do indeed ride on the shoulders of giants. This Giant's friends.....
