I hope this is not breaking any rules. I just want to share a couple of pics I drew about this story (with at least one more coming, hopefully soon).

The first one is a simple picture of Henry Bowers, wearing his pink jacket and playing with a knife.

The second one is also of Bowers, but this time facing one of the Losers, Stuttering Bill himself.

I hope you like them. Next one will have Bill again, with my other favorite Loser (and, would you say, Bill's second in command?), Richie Tozier. ;;D

Thank you! =D

This is the book I read right before Christmas vacations, so it is still fresh. Each book left me wanting to draw the characters, so I have started taking notes of things like hairstyles, or specific clothing, to try to be more faithful.

The hard part is finding time for them.

Right now I am debating if I should start coloring the Bill and Richie pic (already inked and scanned), or if I should read a little more of The Stand. Whichever I choose, sleeping is not an option for the next two hours. ;;D

Thanks! I was not sure about rules concerning this, so thanks for moving it to its proper place.

I would not call this "manga" style.

Although "manga" includes a lot of different styles, really, we mostly associate it with something more like bigger eyes, simplified facial features, and so.

But since I really like both "manga" and "comic book" style, I suppose this must be a mix of both. Some sort of "in-between" style.

...this is what I was referring to as "Manga", I understand the diversity-but the simplistic style I associate more when someone says "Anime"....

Thank you. :a11:

Either consciously or not, I like to focus on things from the book that only readers may recognize (they are different or absent in the movies or TV series). In this case, Henry's real age and his pink jacket (it was fine for him to defend his right to wear it, but he went to some nasty extremes doing so), Bill's red hair, Bill's baldness (with my being rather superfluous in things about looks, that one was hard for me, especially since, up to his teens, Bill was described as if 100% physically attractive), the Losers being 38 instead of forty-something (and in the 80s, which means Richie gets a mullet).

What parts of It would you all like to see? Perhaps we'd think alike. ;;D

Ms. Mod, I was wondering if the thread's name could be changed to only "César's pics", please. Now that the thread is not linked to a single novel, it might be a good idea to use it for illustrations from other Stephen King books, not only "It". Thank you. ;-D
