My granddaughter is going to be baptized this coming weekend so have been busy the past month making her christening ensemble. My daughter bought her the shoes as that was more work than I wanted to do.The outfit is a lot prettier in person if I do say so myself
as you can see more of the detail of the laces and the decorative stitching between the pintucks on the slip, but you get the idea.

stacy270 this is the smaller of the two I am currently working on. I'm not sure how many pages the other is, but it is smaller print, so more x's.
Sooooooo.....I have not practiced what I preached as far as getting to the miniature beach house.My miniature mojo seems to have flown the coop.(I hope it returns at some point because I have more kits to build!).I have been OBSESSED with crocheting voodoo dolls.Stained glass is also calling to me and the cellar WAS warming up so I got some patterns ready but then.....more snow and cold weather! Anyhow......this is the army I have been building(some have deserted and found new places to live along the way).

Update on Starry Night. This one is 49600 stitches. I have about 10000 left.

Does it take much hand strength to crochet that tightly? My hands are not as strong as they used to be (curses stupid old age). Are you using cotton craft yarn? How are you coloring the area behind some of the eyes? It doesn't look like felt tip pen.
