Very very cute :) not at all what I was expecting lol, I had thought it would be totally design :) is someone in your family a fan of fantasy?

The characters in the picture are Link and Zelda from the series of video games. My son is fanatical...always was.

FYI, Robin Williams named his daughter Zelda, after the princess in the games (and picture). They played the games together, and one of the greatest commercials ever was the two of them playing a new Zelda game together.

If and when I ever finished this, I also have another stained glass picture of another character from the games. Then entire picture is black and various shades of green.

totally cute!
Thank you:)
wow- excellent
Thanks so much!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your voodoo dolls! :) Does it take much hand strength to crochet that tightly? My hands are not as strong as they used to be :( (curses stupid old age). Are you using cotton craft yarn? How are you coloring the area behind some of the eyes? It doesn't look like felt tip pen.

Thank you! You know....I find that using a bigger hook is not so hard on my hands and doesnt have to be so tight. Also, the thicker and softer the yarn is the easier it is.Having said that....I DID buy a pair of crochet gloves at the craft store for about $9 and they really help.My hands would cramp up but I was crocheting like a fiend so that didn't help! I use mostly worsted weight yarn. The coloring behind the eyes is black eyeshadow I had left over from being a zombie for Halloween! If you'd like I can PM you the link to the pattern for the doll! Just let me know:)

I like image 1244 - the monkey!

I'd love to have one of him!

Excellent work stacy270 :clap::love:
Well.......lol.....that sock monkey one is still sitting in my Etsy shop waiting for a new home.I dunno why he is still there as I trained him to stop throwing his poop at people.

Sooooooo.....I have not practiced what I preached as far as getting to the miniature beach house. My miniature mojo seems to have flown the coop.(I hope it returns at some point because I have more kits to build!).I have been OBSESSED with crocheting voodoo dolls.Stained glass is also calling to me and the cellar WAS warming up so I got some patterns ready but then.....more snow and cold weather! Anyhow......this is the army I have been building(some have deserted and found new places to live along the way).

Boy howdy, I can be really slow. I just looked at your dolls again and realized some were Zombie Stephen King and Zombie Pennywise. That doll with the black t-shirt is sooooo SK lol. SK must have a closet filled with black t-shirts and faded jeans cause that's what he's wearing in most of his photos :) And the hair and the glasses are perfect too :)

You are a crocheting fiend! ;-D Those are great, Stacy. I had to look back after seeing NBNP's post as I'd missed the one that is Steve.

I hear stories that Ms Mod is going to work another three years so she can add a monster crafting room onto her house. :p

Hoping to start construction in June and will take pics of the process. Am converting my 24 x 28 garage into a craft studio and having a new garage built. Any takers on an "office" pool for how long before I outgrow the new one because I keep buying craft supplies and try new crafts?

Let's see- from the time you organize it to your complete liking, set up all your crafting stations and lay out all your "have now" projects----- about one month!:lol2:

24 x 28 huh:umm: Well.....if you pace yourself I am going to throw out a guess of six months.
Of course.....not to be a downer....but.....what will probably happen is that you already have enough stuff to fill it but won't realize it until you start unpacking;;D
