Sculpy and lots of love - they were fun to make. Did you notice all the different races? Who knew there were Irish and Scottish and Asians at the Last Supper? But I prayed while I worked on them and because our parish is so diverse it seemed important to make sure everyone had a rep. I've got a while to complete the Annunciation, wings are hard.
Yes, I did notice the different races and that's one of the things I love about them. We have quite a diverse congregation at our church as well.

I got stuck on a chapter last week, so I had to do something that occupied the front of my brain and let the underbrain boil without interference. I recovered my couch pillows and made a new table square :) Simple stuff, but it works :)

Very nice. I've always wanted to tackle a recovering project.

Craft boa is light as air. I use it in hair bows all the time. Maybe white boa on a curved wire to shape them?

Once that pizza is cut, how does it stay together as a charm or necklace, or do you make each piece it's own charm? Very cool.
Each piece is its own charm. These were too flimsy, though, so only one got an eye pin. So the others are getting magnets. So is the whole pizza. Next ones will be a little sturdier before I bake them.

Is this upside down for you? Anyway, the towel is there because I needed to wet the material to remove the waste canvas.

I LOVE it!

I wish I had AnnaMarie's patience. I love the appearance of needlepoint scenes done in tent stitch but I just don't have the patience to complete anything as large as a Christmas stocking :( The only needlepoint project I ever finished was the sampler stitch pillow shown below and I probably would have given up on it except a co-worker was depending on me. The co-worker had taken a needlepoint class at the community college but the instructor couldn't show her how to do it left-handed. She asked me if I'd like to learn to needlepoint and also figure out how to do it left-handed. I accepted the challenge, thinking easy peasy that can't be too difficult. Boy howdy, was I in for a surprise... not only do you have to reverse the hand motion, you have to start at the opposite corner of the canvas.

We have two pillows cause I also showed my Mom how to make the sampler. My Mom went on to making some really pretty pictures :)

Lovely pillows.

I've never done needlepoint. Last week I was going through a bag of sewing patterns someone gave me, and found a needlepoint kit, so I plan to teach myself.

I'm fascinated by your painted rocks and I have questions lol...
How big are the rocks?
Do you use a paint brush or a paint pen?
nbnp,
Most of the rocks are about the size of my hand, or slightly bigger.
I mostly use acrylic paints and a brush, then touch up with a paint pen or even a Sharpie sometimes.
I also use acrylic ink, which is thinner than paint but more pigmented (is that a word?). Anyway, you get more color per stroke. The white rock with the blue fern is done with the acrylic ink. I wish I had all those rocks you posted!
