Thanks, everyone!

Tha party was nice. I think a little overwhelming for RJ, but he had fun. :)

He didn't get nearly as messy as I hoped, but he did a pretty good job demolishing his cake! ;-D

That ducky cake is ultra cute! And so is RJ! :)

I can't even imagine how you made that cake... did you carve a large cake into a duck? Did RJ grab the duck's head and eat it first? (I always bite the heads off animal crackers first. I hope that doesn't say anything horrible about me :()

;-D Nope, I used a 2 piece duck shaped pan. The batter goes in the bottom half, you put the top half on and bake. It just didn't raise enough to get the round shape on the top half while baking, so I had to do a lot of fleshing out with frosting.

Here is a pic of what the pan looks like.

RJ did go for the head, though! ;-D

Any leftovers???

:tough:
There is some left! We brought it home and the kids are eating on it. =D Tons of frosting left, too, and that is dangerous stuff. Need to get some graham crackers or make another cake, last time I let the kids at a fresh cake with frosting and tips, and they had a blast. The cake looked like it had been sprayed with silly string when they got done decorating.
