Before and after back stitching.

Now comes the hard part. Putting it together.
So beautiful! I really envy your ability to get these done so quickly! I never seem to have time to work on mine. That teddy bear picture I posted quite a while back...not one square has been stitched on it since then. I need about another 24 hours added to each day. ;)

I absolutely love that pattern. Is it a pattern that's still sold in shops?

Is Mia the name of your littlest infielder? :)

The mom picked out the pattern.

It is Folk Art Collection by Barbara Baatz Hillman. If it is not available as a single pattern or kit, it is in Donna Kooler's Ultimate Stocking Collection. The first book, which is the white cover.

And yes, Mia is our newest.

I am so impressed with your needlework--absolutely beautiful!

Thank you. I could point out the errors. Although, there were at least two places I felt there was an error in the pattern, which I corrected.

Thank you. Of course, my husband would prefer I spend the time cleaning and cooking...but where's the fun in that?

That is so cute AnnaMarie!

Thank you.

Is everyone is busy crafting or learning new crafts? I'm having looky loo withdrawals.:nerd:

I have been busy hoarding crochet patterns off Ravelry.I am currently obsessed with crocheting and seeing how I am very new to it and especially pattern reading I have been spending hours watching youtube videos trying to learn stuff instead of actually doing anything. That website is almost as bad as Pinterest!

Funny you should mention the crochet. I just bought a Craftsy class on doing free-form crochet and am anxious to get started. Haven't finished watching the class videos but looks like it's going to be something I'll enjoy doing with crochet as I'm not usually a big fan and prefer knitting.

Have still been on my sewing kick. These 2 are the last couple of projects from the first Saturday of the month sewing club I've been doing. I'd never done bargello before so that was a fun one to do and has given me more confidence to try a quilt--this is just a table runner that I'll take to AZ and had that in mind when I picked the colors. The quilt is just a small sample size--only 26" x 26".

Just looked up freeform crochet- now that looks interesting. No mistake crocheting and the projects are magnificent.

I was having looky loo withdrawals too :) I love seeing what y'all are creating. I've given up on crochet for a while. Figuring out those wooden egg patterns wore me out lol.

I've done needlepoint in Bargello patterns but never even imagined using fabric in a Bargello pattern. I love it! :)

I had to look it up too lol. I'm not sure if I could purposefully color outside the lines lol

Sort of like a sewing circle kind of thing?

OoO... What are we going to do with you?
