Funny you should mention the crochet. I just bought a Craftsy class on doing free-form crochet and am anxious to get started. Haven't finished watching the class videos but looks like it's going to be something I'll enjoy doing with crochet as I'm not usually a big fan and prefer knitting.

I Would love to hear your thoughts on the Craftsy class after you do it.Like how the instruction was, ect.I have never heard from anyone who has actually taken one. I often find myself directed there when doing a search for instructions online.I'm curious to know if it is worth it.

Have still been on my sewing kick. These 2 are the last couple of projects from the first Saturday of the month sewing club I've been doing. I'd never done bargello before so that was a fun one to do and has given me more confidence to try a quilt--this is just a table runner that I'll take to AZ and had that in mind when I picked the colors. The quilt is just a small sample size--only 26" x 26".

I've done a lot of classes with Craftsy and really like them. They're on demand so I can watch them whenever I want and as many times as I want. Yes, I could probably get some of this information free on YouTube instead of paying for it through Craftsy but for some things I prefer getting a more in-depth explanation and they're professionally done so the camera work is a lot easier to watch. I usually wait until the class I want is on sale and I'm on their email list so get advance notice of that.

I have done a couple crafty classes and I've enjoyed both. One on tatting and one on using a walking foot on your sewing machine for quilting. What I like is I can go back and watch them over and over, which I have done. Especially the one for tatting. I just can't get that circle down!

Thanks for the information:) It makes me more likeLy to give one a try the next time I have an urge to learn! Youtube takes ALOT of time sifting through videos to find one that is helpful.

Is everyone is busy crafting or learning new crafts? I'm having looky loo withdrawals.:nerd:

I have been busy hoarding crochet patterns off Ravelry.I am currently obsessed with crocheting and seeing how I am very new to it and especially pattern reading I have been spending hours watching youtube videos trying to learn stuff instead of actually doing anything. That website is almost as bad as Pinterest!

I hoard crochet patterns I think are cool... I'll probably never make them lol but I need to have them just in case y'know :)

I just caught SK on CBS This Morning. He looks really good! and his mind is soooooo sharp!

These are SO adorable! I love them.

Those are great! Really nice job with them.

Thank you guys:) The second one seems to be the favorite amongst people. It gets my vote because it was the fastest to make:0:.....although not the funnest!

Those are soooooooo cute! Ive had a couple amigurumi patterns in my collection of patterns I think I'll make someday. You've given me the necessary kick in the butt to actually make one lol. I've never seen Smart Fries and now I want them too lol. Can you get them in a normal grocery store or do you have to get them in a health food type store?

Lol....I have to keep my Smart Fries in the bedroom because we have a teenager! I have not seen them in stores but I get the 24 pk from amazon for around 23.00. There are ALOT of fries in each pack. The flavors : bbque, sweet jalepeno, honey mustard, cracked black pepper, sea salt, aged chedder. They are ALL yummy! And 100-110 calories a bag:)
