It's a great pic, but I question everyone having their back to door with that many police officers in one place. I'm assuming maybe someone was outside possibly watching the entrance I'm thinking? Not trying to spoil the pic but just dangerous tactically speaking.
...spoken as a true LEO, and though it does erase the contemplative aspect of the pic, it is a sad comment on the truth of keeping the peace...even with a healthy dose of inner peace...
I am not sure Ghost. This was in Ontario is one the midsize cities.
I liked the one comment,that instead of intoning "Omm" during meditation,they did "Ehh" the Canadian equivalent.. 
Hopefully it's not just a photo-op and they'll calm down enough to avoid another Robert Kindjanski(?) incident and not lie about it.

Don't know what the incident you are referring to is,but is it unrelated to this photo?And if so,why the slam,this is a pretty innocuous photo,no reason to interject negativity there..

No need to settle down,not worked up..just kind of dispirited..it seems the cops can't win even when they are seen as doing something positive,they get the green weenie..

I should clarify my comment about someone watching the entrance. I meant I would hope another brother or sister officer is outside watching so the officers inside can get a moment of peace. These days, there just seems to be too many people intent on doing harm to LE personnel, especially when several of them are in a small space such as this.

Now, before anyone gets upset let me be clear that I have the utmost respect for the fine officers who keep us safe. Friends with a few in fact. Coached baseball with one. He loved his donuts and never hid the fact from anyone. Course, he was 6'2" and about 250lbs so he didn't hear the donut gag except from me and a few others.
Music can be quite therapeutic, also, or so I’ve heard.
