...spoken as a true LEO, and though it does erase the contemplative aspect of the pic, it is a sad comment on the truth of keeping the peace...even with a healthy dose of inner peace...It's a great pic, but I question everyone having their back to door with that many police officers in one place. I'm assuming maybe someone was outside possibly watching the entrance I'm thinking? Not trying to spoil the pic but just dangerous tactically speaking.

Don't know what the incident you are referring to is,but is it unrelated to this photo? And if so,why the slam, this is a pretty innocuous photo,no reason to interject negativity there..Hopefully it's not just a photo-op and they'll calm down enough to avoid another Robert Kindjanski(?) incident and not lie about it.
Well then,if that is the road we are taking,my favorite was Leslie Nielsen's retirement speech from the Police Squad.. "We shot a lot of people together,it's been a lot of fun..."A little meditation right before bashing in some perp's head with a baton is a good thing.
....ok pard, settle down....Mal is not one to flame on a post...he just needs to clarify who the person is, because I'm not tracking either.....Don't know what the incident you are referring to is,but is it unrelated to this photo? And if so,why the slam, this is a pretty innocuous photo,no reason to interject negativity there..
No need to settle down, not worked up..just kind of dispirited..it seems the cops can't win even when they are seen as doing something positive, they get the green weenie......ok pard, settle down....Mal is not one to flame on a post...he just needs to clarify who the person is, because I'm not tracking either.....
...I am not law enforcement, but I am a rock solid supporter of them, and I don't like it either when the vast majority are painted with the same brush that the rotten cops are.....No need to settle down, not worked up..just kind of dispirited..it seems the cops can't win even when they are seen as doing something positive, they get the green weenie..

You are correct sir. My apologies. Let's not let a few bad apples spoil the bunch.Don't know what the incident you are referring to is,but is it unrelated to this photo? And if so,why the slam, this is a pretty innocuous photo,no reason to interject negativity there..
Or ma'am. Bad assumption on my part. All the best, mal.You are correct sir. My apologies. Let's not let a few bad apples spoil the bunch.
oh no worries Mal, I guess I shouldn't be so sensitive.. Seeing a lot of hateful stuff on other sites directed at cops and it just gets wearing.. And no need to call me sir the name is Mike..O
