I finished Needful Things for the first time recently and am happy to say I got sucked into another incredible Castle Rock story. I understand this was his first novel post sobriety and wonder if anyone found the style to be ....different? Definitely sai King, but perhaps the language showed a different veneer. Not better or worse, just different. Getting to know each character pair, though, was manna from heaven. All the tie-ins to different stories throughout the Castle Rock world over time is always a guilty pleasure too. Oh, and Alan Pangborn. What a cool dude! Maybe he's not a gunslinger in the traditional sense, but he definitely hasn't forgotten the face of his father! Great book.
