Yup, that's myself.
All I can find for a release date is 2016.
A few days ago I found out that a movie distributor in my country will release Cell. They didn't give me a date, but it's a good sign anyway. Musn't be far away.
I hope they don't change the ending. Unlike a lot of other readers I've spoken to, I liked it. (No spoilers).
You liked the ambiguous ending. Yes I can see that. Leave something to the imagination.
Last I heard about this one is that the distributor backed out. Anyone have any updates on this?
Lilja has just posted that the British Board of Film Classification informed that the movie will be released on February 26th.

Was hoping they'd give a more specific release date. This one is taking forever to get in the theaters and it's all done so can't figure out the hold up.
Surprising announcement too since Cell was pulled from the Scottish film festival. Wonder if this is going to end up being a Netflix release....

I have been a fan of Stephen King for many years now. The differences between the movie and the book are way too off kilter. I love the book hated the movie.
The movie comes nowhere near the book. Hile word Slinger you dropped the ball on this one.
From the death of Alice in a bar I mean come on.

I did not see the movie. I know it got terrible ratings. Was it because it was so different from the book, or was it just poorly done?
I watched about the first third and then...meh...
I've found that when translating a King novel into a movie...its either a complete miss or hit....no in between. I either hate it...or love it! Keeping my fingers crossed that the Dark Tower is a hit!!
