Chat box?

Most sites of this design have a chatbox, I was wondering if this site actually has one (and if I'm locked out because I'm a new member) or if there has never been one. If there isn't one, out of curiosity, is that by design or the limitations of the forum?

We use Profile and Private Messages. ("Conversations", accessed through the profile area)
Once you reach 150 posts, you will become unmoderated, which will make posting/and chatting easier for you.

There is no chat box by design.

Keep in mind that we are always moderated, so you'll want to keep things PG-rated with a venture here and there into R-rated territory, but never X. If you screw up, you'll hear about it. We're a pretty good bunch here and try to keep things as friendly as we can. I think you'll fit right in.

It's funny you should mention cat box...

This is what I use for spare coins in the kitchen. It's an automated coin bank where the cat pops out to steal coins set on its plate. Very cute...
