Do you send our cards? I only have 2 people I send cards to.

I do - nothing special, no fancy yearly letter about what we've been doing, maybe every 6 years I'll send a family picture. For some reason, even in my nuttiness last year, I managed to get the cards in the mail. I only send 10 or 12, not many. This year I've already bought them - from a local charity with kid's artwork. I'm looking forward to the Peanuts stamps.
Bought my Peanut stamps last week. Cards to remaining family up north, a few dear and old friends. Five international ones.
I used my first Charlie Brown stamps today! The Rudolph stamps are precious and make me smile as well.
Oddly, now that I think of it, Christmas cards are just about the only thing I send out in the mail anymore.
I'll cop to being one of those people who finds social media repellent in most of it's forms (he said, ironically), but ease of communication has taken a lot of the niceties out of actual interpersonal relations.
Christmas cards, it seems to me, are one of the things that remind us that it was not ever thus.

Getting cards in the mail makes me smileI used my first Charlie Brown stamps today! The Rudolph stamps are precious and make me smile as well.
I guess I'm old-fashioned. I like tangible, tactile Christmas cards I can tape to a ribbon and hang on a door frame.
Whatever I do.....I bring misery. Seems cheaper to make people unhappy by not sending cards? Oddly I enjoy it more when I make them unhappy by actually sending cards.
Here's the thing.....members of my family do not send cards or gifts out of love or whatever. They "return" them. Meaning, if you give them a card, they send you a cards if you given them a gift, they give you a gift. So, when I do send cards, I send when it's to late for them to send them to me before Christmas. I have popped in Christmas Eve with presents.
When I give, I do it because I want to. And any that I receive, I want to know were sent because they want to.

I used to send boxes of stuff to my older sister in Toronto at Christmas but lately have not been doing it.
This old fashioned card makes me think of Toronto back in the 60s, although it is probably a much older scene.
(more like just after the second World War or perhaps the 50s).
I send cards. I enjoy writing little notes. Lots of times its my way of chatting to friends as Iam not much of a phone person.
I think I'll send cards this year. In fact I just texted my sister for current mailing addresses. I haven't sent cards it in forever. It's difficult for me to keep track of everyone I wish to include.
I make me a list and cross the names off as I go. I usally send alot of cards.
I need to make such a list, too. I just hesitate since I feel I'm bound to forget someone, so the list doesn't get made and so the cards don't go out.
My list is kept on my the inside of the door on my desk cabinet. as I think of someone,I had them and I do this all year long and no big deal to get them out then.
I could carry a small writing pad with me.

I love sending and receiving cards. I usually send cards to family and friends for Christmas and for birthdays. These days, I send out many more than I receive, but I enjoy it, so I'll keep sending them.
