For any of you out there that are Clive Barker or Hellraiser fans, here is a link to what is a pretty good deal on the new book with variations on cover and signature / sketch options. I personally think the UK cover blows the US cover away.

I find the UK covers usually stand out. It's been a long wait for his latest and I believe his plan is to finish the Abarat series before returning to other projects.

Yeah I pre-ordered mine back in February.
I emailed them to ask when I could expect it to be delivered, thinking of the release dates of 19th May (US) and 21st May (UK) and thinking it has to reach the UK from the States too... I just wanted a rough idea of when to expect it so I could plan my reading accordingly.

The response I got was vague to say the least :p -

Hi John,

The signed copies of the book will ship over the summer once Clive has signed each one.

Best regards,
Chandra

Ah well, I will just have to read some Laymon or one of King's older books to tide me over until release. If it doesn't arrive by the end of May I have also ordered "The Border" by McCammon too...and then there is Finders Keepers due in June too!

I ordered "Carrie" from Cemetery Dance last year in April (for my birthday) - I got it just before Christmas 2014! (nice present, actually, even if I had to wait eight months).

"over the summer" Hmmm......I guess I won't hold my breath to get it this month! He's offering signed copies on his website too. And for much cheaper than the Earthling book so I hope it's worth what we paid.

So so tempted to just start it now!
Must finish what I am already reading!!
I too had to finish a book before I started it, so that's why I read so little of the Gospels. For those readers who have been longing for Barker's return to horror will be thrilled if the opening is any indication. I guess I'm not making it any easier on you, am I. ;)

No, no you're really not!!! ;;D
I am enjoying Bag of Bones though, flying through it so shouldn't be too long before I get stuck into Gospels!

Just got this response from the Clive Barker : Revelations Facebook page -

"We've just received the US edition books and the UK edition copies are en route. Clive will be signing books across the next two weeks and we will send a public update on June 1st."

So maybe buying the Kindle edition was a wise move! ;-D
