i'd seen a headline at the drudge-report but didn't click on the bait. greenville, too...ooga booga! report says something about gunshots. i'm guessing the clowns have disappeared. the clowns are using money though...no balloons. don't know what to think about that. i hope nobody gets hurt.

Dunno, I will take this one with a grain of salt, then see what happens.. This may be one of those incidents where kids are getting worked up over something silly.. Of course they need to check and pay attention, but it sure sounds suspicious to me.. kind of like the man in the black coat that never materializes..
well, I'm in Texas and my youngest are 22, but this really disturbs me. I was hoping it was a joke site or a publicity stunt, but I'm afraid it isn't.
JC,not to minimalize it,but everybody has cellphones now,and nobody thought to record these clowns "enticing" kids into the woods?Just what does enticing mean,I would think it would take more than a few seconds to "entice"the kids,long enough for the kids to activate their cameras..and someone else took potshots,I mean actually shot at these clowns?and no police report about it? Hate to be the skeptic if something developes,but I wouldn't get too disturbed about it.. 
Speaking of cell phones, the way kids pay attention to them today, I'm surprised they would have noticed clowns with their phones on. If you really want to lure kids away, I think dressing as a Pokemon would work faster.
Just came back from SC (family vacation) and I would like to state, that, although I find creepy clowns to be awesome and amusing, I had nothing to do with the events described in the article and can account for every minute of my time there (with witnesses). Just sayin'...
