Are you referring to the series finale of Newhart, the one where he was the owner of the Inn in New Hampshire? Just wondered 'cause you quoted someone who was referring to the original Bob Newhart show where he lived in New York with Suzanne what's-her-name. Jerry played the dentist playboy who's office wason the same floor as Bob's.

Well . . . it was Chicago, but yes. Newhart went out as a dream sequence, having Bob Hartley wake up in bed with Emily (with that same old checked comforter), the entire Dick Loudon experience being a dream.

So, from a certain perspective, you could say that Newhart was merely a "play-within-a-play" and none of it "really" happened, so that the finale of Newhart was actually the delayed "true" finale of The Bob Newhart Show.

So Ms. Mod can be said to be technically correct.

I think Ms. Mod should tell our favorite author to work The Three Stooges into one of his stories. Yeah, maybe another short with Roland on another level of The Tower and he runs into Larry, Moe and Curly. The Drawing of The Three Stooges he could call it.
Followed up by The Wind Through the Nuk, Nuk, Look at the Grouse... Woob Woobwoobwoo.

Canadians . . . anybody with me on Corner Gas?

Caught this thing a few years ago while tilting at windmills up north and fell in love with it.

You'll know in the first minute or so of the first episode -- when two locals react to a tourist's opinion of the Saskatchewan topography -- whether or not you'll like it.

Simply hilarious.
