When I implied that I was a little slow, make that a lot slow. Not yet figured out how to set the Buick I was sent as an avatar, screwed up my email password, didn't get round to thanking all my welcomers and don't know the next step. Oh well, I'll get there eventually, everything's eventual.
A frustrated strake.

Hi Strake, I'll try to help you with your avatar. First you have to make sure the picture is absolutely square in shape. (You can do this in a photo editing program on your computer if you're having trouble doing this, you could copy and paste the image into this thread and I'll edit it for you.)

Thanks for the photo tip Flake! I've had a picture I've been wanting to use, but it's not square. I'll go fix that and give it a try.

Certain technological things tend to take me longer than they could due to my age. I mean, I'm just not used to them. However, thanx to something Mod posted, I recently learned how to resize pix so I can upload them here, which is very cool! One can also ask Jordan about things.

Hi, thanks for the offer. I am really trying to get the Buick that was posted as my avatar, however, somehow I have managed to lock the email on my (Hudl) android. I have logged in on my laptop until I can remedy the problem. I'll be back, ayuh, strake.

Sorry for the wait, I am really struggling with getting this photo just right because the dimensions are so far from square. I will get back to you a bit later.

Flake, you are the best- always there to help. I remember way back when you fixed up my polaroid of Spideyman and his spider for me.

Hi, Strake. I'm very sorry but the best I've been able to do leaves the image slightly skewed, I'll leave a copy here anyway in case you decide you'd like to use it.

(If anybody else has some magic they can wrangle to get an image completely square, please do clue me up.)

To upload, right click the above image and save to your computer. Then go to your profile area, (top left of page, hover over your username) a drop-down menu will appear. Click on Avatar then follow the prompts.
(There is a click and drag option once you've uploaded, that you can use to best position the image, right before saving changes.)
