I held one of these today.

A baby corn snake (that's not me or the snake, but it was about that size and colour/pattern)

I also held a young female Boa Constrictor that put a bit of squeeze on my hand. I'd never even seen a real snake before today - don't get too many snakes in Liverpool, so that was pretty cool.

I watched John Waters This Filthy World documentary and he said that he was the only child in the theater sobbing because dorothy wanted to LEAVE Oz. He never understood why she would want to go back to that black and white boring farm with dreary people instead of staying in Oz where there were flying monkeys, magic shoes and gay cowardly lions! (paraphrasing) He tells it in such a funny way.
I totally felt that way too. I'd live in Oz in a minute. I'm secretly afraid I might walk into a tornado trying.
