I've seen only part of that movie, haven't read the book. I'm a lousy CR.
The first time I read the book, I wasn't sure what to think. Then I found that it had gotten under my skin; I kept thinking about the characters. So I read it again, and now it's one of my favorite books. As far as the movie, all performances were top notch. If I remember correctly, don't you like Philip Seymour Hoffman? He's wonderfully slimy in this movie :)

I love to see MJ do the moonwalk and everyone believes that he created that dance. He didn't.

Jeffery Daniel from the group Shalamar was the first person I saw perform the dance at a concert. They opened for Earth, Wind and Fire back in the day at the Omni here in the late 70s.

I'd never seen anything like it in my life and I went ape-****!~ It was amazing to watch him slide backwards across the stage as if something was pulling him.

MJ did it well but never as well as Jeffery Daniel. Never. You had to see it. And I did.

It was years before Jeffery Daniel received his props for being the originator. I was glad even though I already knew he was the King of Moonwalking.

Check him out and you'll know he is the King of Moonwalking. He's way better than Michael. Way . . .
