Sometimes ... Stephen goes online and reads some of our posts!! :) Isn't that cool! I saw him (well, his name) under the names of people on the website a few times. That is exciting, knowing that such a cool person  is online reading our posts. :ghost:

He wrote a musical with John Mellencamp: It's based on a house that Mellencamp bought in Indiana that came complete with a ghost story. The legend is that three siblings were messing around in the woods and one of the brothers accidentally got shot. The surviving brother and sister jumped in the car to go get help, and in their panic, swerved off the road right into a tree and were killed instantly. Of course, the three now haunt the woods by the house Mellencamp bought. The singer approached King about maybe doing something with the story, and between the two of them, they wrote songs and a plot for a musical called The Ghost Brothers of Darkland County.
Don't forget that Ghost Brothers of Darkkand Country is set in ole Sippy.

I can't find it. Maybe it was just in my imagination. Does anyone else remember Johnny Carson interviewing Stephen King?

Ok, here's what I remember. I remember Johnny Carson commenting on how Stephen King writes stories, and asking if they just pop up out of his head, and if he could tell a story with Johnny Carson in it. Then Stephen starts talking about Johnny Carson walking down the street, turning the corner, and then something skarey jumps up at Johnny from around the corner.

Maybe I dreamed this up. Does anyone else remember this?

This is all I can find (with Conan O'Brien) at 1:30 he starts talking about Ronald McDonald. Poor quality video but quite funny

I just read this...

He suffers from triskaidekaphobia – fear of the number 13. “The number 13 never fails to trace that old icy finger up and down my spine. When I'm writing, I'll never stop work if the page number is 13 or a multiple of 13; I'll just keep on typing till I get to a safe number. I always take the last two steps on my back stairs as one, making 13 into 12. There were after all 13 steps on the English gallows up until 1900 or so. When I'm reading, I won't stop on page 94, 193, or 382, since the sums of these numbers add up to 13.”
He really hates reading the above post. :)
