The Darkside of the Moon (England really)
I remember when I lived in London someone describing his dog as "Crazy as a box of light-bulbs." where did that come from?...
If you lived in England, I'm sure you've heard much stranger phrases.

I'm pretty sure I've heard that phrase before, probably from my Dad. Funnily enough, I can't remember it being in SK's books. I do notice quite a bit of almost sub-concious Britishness when reading SK's books, particularly the Dark Towers.

TrashCan man uses it to describe "The Kid"

Its also used in the story uncle otto's truck as well

Does anyone else ever wonder where Stephen King got the phrase "crazy as a sh*t house rat" from lol? I've heard many people in his stories say this so i just thought i would ask.
I just heard this again when watching Shawshank Redemption on TV a day or so ago.

I used to work near the PsycHealth Centre at HSC and now I am in a different part of the hospital. I can honestly say I do not miss the "Code White"s that were happening all the time, and the sound of people yelling, screaming etc. Plus the ceilings were so high and all the sounds echoed - it was creepy :(
