Even Hamburgler has taken to the bottle in depression. Mayor McCheese is just running around hollering frantic things and collecting his sesame seeds as they drop. Grimace is still recovering from his feud with Barney over who was to be the big purple thing on Earth. Sad times.

The creepy clowns mania has made it to the Netherlands also. There are several clown reports, including one clown chasing schoolchildren with a large knife today. As a result McDonalds has removed all their clowns in the Netherlands too. I always thought hypes could'nt get any weirder and more stupid when people started planking but i guess it can

Maybe it's all just a really inappropiate promotional stunt for the upcoming It movie...

Another one hanging from a telephone pole at the entrance of town, sign around its neck reading Clowns, ye be warned. Couple of bikers beating a mime in the park--poor guy was trying to tell them he was only a mime, but, you know...they don't talk.

The hamburglar is gone. They had tried to get permission from the the Kroffts to use the characters from H.R. Pufnstuf But the Kroffts refused. So McD's created characters that were so similar they were charged for infringing on copyright. And, I guess you could say, the Hamburglar is in jail.

I believe he has tweeted about it. Telling people to stop. He may have said it's nothing to do with him, I don't recall. But didn't Marcia say it did NOT start with him?

With talk of a new IT movie, it's understandable why many people thought he might be behind the original clowns.
