I haven't made it that far yet, as Netflix doesn't have the newest seasons available. But I heard that she takes Prentiss' place or something, and all I can think is, "She's too cute!" No way all the gore and harsh subject matter can fit with her cute little face.

You're pretty much right. The writers tried too hard to force her down the viewer's throats, having her fit right in with the team, all cutesy. I know Prentiss can't come back, but I hope that the next person they bring in is a better fit. I loved her in the ghost whisperer, but she's just not a fit for the high drama and intellectual aspect of this show.
