Grandma loves Fritos. The descendants love Fritos. And they are as purists with those as I am with my coffee. No ranch, no barbecue, no special taco seasoning, nothing like that. Just Fritos.
I'm a heretic. I have to eat these on the sly, and when I do, I can't tell them about it later. SSSsssshhhhhhh.... they really have no idea.

When we had a German exchange student stay with us, she got a real kick out of these things when we had corn on the cob, as she never saw anything like them before. We got her a set to take back home.

Fritos are corn's way of letting you know it likes you. Gimme them plain big Scoop ones wif a bucket of bean dip--and step back.

My ex brother-in-law was new to the country. He was taken aback that we even ate corn on the cob. Said that it was pig food.
She sorta had the same feeling about it, so I had to explain the difference between sweet corn and cow corn, as sweet corn is bred to include a high level of natural sugar. She enjoyed it.
