I am so sorry Asoul for your loss. These children have not been taught to respect all life forms. It might go to parental teaching, or lack thereof. Can this problem be made known to school teachers, who in turn migth have lessons on proper treatment of animals? That picture hurts my soul and spirit. One for the cats who are being harmed, and also for the dogs who are being taught inappropriate behaviors.
Yes, you are right...These dogs are pure-breed. And usually such dogs are specially trained to ignore cats.

This has happened in the NYC area where I live. Kids have set homeless men on fire for fun. Sickening.
Were those kids punished juridically?

Asoul, I am distraught with you! This is horrifying and I am so sorry your fur baby fell victim to such cruelty.

Do the authorities know they are doing this?
Alas, the authorities now are busy by other things...

(((Asoul))) I'm so sorry about your cat :( I am unable to understand people who are cruel to other life forms :( And children who are cruel to animals sometimes grow up to be adults who have no respect for other humans. I live in an area that has strong anti-cruelty laws which protects animals to a degree. Maybe you could petition for anti-cruelty laws?
Maybe some day I'll do that.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved fur-friend. This kind of cruelty starts with animals as victims and then will go on to bigger things, such as homeless people. Do what you can to try to put a stop to it now. They're teaching their dogs to kill other animals, it's just a matter of time until a human is targeted. If one of my pets had been killed in this manner, I would be pounding on the doors of these little monsters homes and demanding that their parents do something. Then I would probably wait until I got the chance to be alone with the little brats, one by one........

 For now I only took a big stone in my hand and showed them ... But what I'll do tomorrow... Who knows... I am not a shy woman.

I believe that they eventually were punished somehow, but being underage not as harshly as they should have been.
