You got a point about Empire in the sun... Forgot about that one. Personally i thought saving private Ryan was too long and too sentimental in its other half (a common sickness with Spielberg) to rise to top 5. It had a great beginning though

I get the point about Ryan and don't necessarily even disagree with the comments about both it and Spielberg (also my tiny complaint with Close Encounters). Ryan was a father-son Marines viewing experience for us, and it got to us powerfully (although the son ended up liking American Sniper more).

Nothing beats fly fishing from a float tube...chest waders cause the water is cold...real cold...flippers...that otter on the log, barking at me.
