Dana Jean, you're reawakening my love of goats. I adored them as a child, clear up until I met an intact billy goat. I had no idea at the time that billy goats peed on their beards, and it wasn't until I was on my way home in the back of my folks' car that I noticed an atrocious smell...I kind of stayed away from goats after that. 
The billy goats are nasty, and can be pretty ornery, especially if they have their horns intact. But if you get them taken care of early, they are precious little love bouncy things.Dana Jean, you're reawakening my love of goats. Nuts and horns should come off. They don't have to on the horn part, but they do use those if they have them. All my goats except one didn't have horns. The one with horns was mean, especially to the other goats.Wait...you cut their horns off? I thought intact meant theirwere still on.nuts
That is really interesting. I never would have thought horns would make a difference! Now I'm going to betray my ignorance here; do females have horns, or are there any horn-less breeds?
Yes, they have horns. The one goat I had with horns was Judith.
