Oh thank goodness! The most vulnerable among us need our extra compassion and help, human and critter. I'm so glad she is safe.

In addition to apple and pumpkin picking, we visited a little petting zoo at the pumpkin patch. I always photograph goats for Dana Jean when I see them. The are too stinkin' cute!

We got to feed them, too! They were so adorable.
I have four sisters, all older than me. Before I came along they had a pet goat named Doctor Rat (don't ask, cause I never did and don't want to know: those were dark days). Doctor Rat passed on. Then I happened and they didn't want pets any more. I'm sure there's an insult there some where but I didn't want to give my sisters the satisfaction of acknowledging their statement.

They grow on trees! It's true - saw it on the internet.
I ALMOST did goat yoga on my vacation. So close to it but circumstances did not allow me to. I am truly bummed and I'm going to look around my neck of the woods and see if anyone offers it around here. Because if they do, I'm doing it.
Oh my lord. That is such a touching story. Animals amaze me. Some of them aren't the dumb beasts that people try to make them out to be. I hope they will all be okay.
