Please tell me I'm not the only one here who just lost sleep watching the entire of season 2. While the writing and direction aren't quite up to the benchmark set by Season 1, this is a very strong follow-up with plenty of nice surprises. And FINALLY, the character who started my obsession with skulls back in 1984 has been given his due on-screen. The graveyard scene where Frank Castle tells Matt about his daughter is worth more than all previous tepid films put together. He is The Punisher, a tragic walking nightmare in black, and damn well deserving of his own series after this.

And now I'm off to bed.

Nice, this is good to hear. I'm about to start season 2 tonight. I can't bring myself to start that Jessica Jones show. I guess it's related to Daredevil. Have you heard anything about that show?

Jonesy, Jessica Jones is the second series from Netflix based on a Marvel character, to be followed by Luke Cage and Iron Fist, culminating in a Defenders series featuring all four heroes. It is worth a look, but not up to the standard of DD (in my opinion). however, it has a strong female lead and is notable for David Tennant's performance as the villain. Also, it introduces Luke Cage.

I liked the first season a lot more than I liked the second, but it did have its moments, particularly in adding Bernthal's Punisher. He was by far the best part of the season. I'm glad to see that he's getting his own series.
