Hi. Just don't know where to write this so I just dropped in on this forum. I had an epiphany yesterday. This will interest those of you who have read the Dark Tower series. In the series the Gunslinger has no name and no past. But yesterday I realized the Gunslinger is the grown up CARL from The Walking Dead. Think about it, dead world, always on the road, family dies and he, Carl, now the Gunslinger, still searches for.....something. Carl right now as a teen even looks like what I would think the Gunslinger would look like. I wonder if SK and Robert Kirkman have ever had thoughts about this. May be they conspired...... Ha ha. Anyway, you read it here first. See you at the Overlook. Johnnie.

Welcome...

...interesting but Carl will, inevitably, be offed in a future season of The Walking Dead. Which would mean he would disappear from the space time continuumn and he would then fade from the page like Marty McFly in Back to the Future.

Ha,that is a funny thought..welcome to the board and keep on posting!
Muskie,I am glad that the kid doesn't just annoy me,thought I was the only one..now,Rick,I could see him being the gunslinger, especially if Carl bit the big one,I could see him going on alone, with no memory of the past..and the way he handles that Colt Python, like in the bar scene, makes him top dog for gunslinger!

Wait a minnit. What if the entire DT series + King himself and everything else are all just a delusion that Rick has after Carl becomes zombie kibble?

Carl is "Quick-Draw Carl" in the Rot & Ruin series :D Sheriff Rick was even on a trading card as a "Hero of the First Night". But Gunslinger? Nope. (Though I think Rick would make a lovely Gunslinger--the "cool, blue shooter's eyes")

Welcome! Mr. King and Walking Dead are two of my favorite people/things.
