Long time king fan. Have read many, many of his books. Just started the Dark Tower series. Read the first 3 books in less than a month. Totally addicted now. Just started the 4th W&G and I heard the latest book (wind through the keyhole) is considered technically 4.5. I wanted to see everyone's thought on the reading order. Should I go W&G to Wolves or W&G to Keyhole and then Wolves?

Hi and welcome! If you have Wind Through the Keyhole on hand I say read that one after Wizard and Glass. If you do not have Wind I say proceed to Wolves. Imho, it's not crucial either way; not harmful to read Wind after Wizard, not harmful not to.

Read the journey as it was published. Took the journey several more times. Read WTTK last-- found it to be like a family reunion, going back to the Ka-Tet once again. It is a stand alone book, so a matter of choice. Personally, I like the idea of going back to re visit the Ka-Tet.
I did enjoy going back. It had been a long time since I had read the series when I read Wind, and it was great to hear the lingo again.
