Lol, Flake is right, I don't know what any of this means and I didn't open any of the spoilers but it was fun to see what lies ahead.....mayo?? I did get tooter fish though! I also finished up Drawing of the Three!

wow! I was holding my breath through the last couple of chapters. How he tied everything together was amazing. I literally had chills when Roland is yelling at Odetta/Detta to look at what he did to Jack at the train station.

About 20 pages into The Waste Lands!

Getting ready to start Wizard and Glass! I've only just begun but had to acknowledge the dedication. That name looks eerily familiar.....
Speaking of our Moderator, I was wondering if you give me some info that is DT related? Some years ago a friend of mine sent me a postcard that pictured the DT series on the front, reissues I believe, with a typed message on the back and signed by SK. It talks about an expanded version of The Gunslinger and states that the "final two books will gallop into print next year" and a few other things. The FYI at the bottom, under the sig, says, "the card is computer generated. The signature is real"
Do you know what these post cards were for or have any details on them? I honestly forgot I had it and lo and behold there it was!

My recollection, which is admittedly fuzzy as it was a number of years ago, is that we'd asked Steve if we could have something printed up to send out rather than having to type up a letter every time we got a request about when the next release was coming. He did sign them personally, though.

Awesome! thank you! I don't know where my friend got it but she knew I would love it. Now that it's been found perhaps a frame would come in handy so I don't forget it again :a11:

I'm interested in what you come up with as favorite/least favorite book of the series. It fascinates me how all over the map we all are on that :) My least favorite is Song of Susannah (in fact, I can barely remember what happens in that one). I didn't like The Gunslinger much, until my last reading (a few months ago); it finally 'clicked' for me. I still like the original Gunslinger better than the revised, though.
