Wow. Just look at that! Very compelling. Did they use 99% of the budget on promotional materials? ;;D

I know! Isn't it amazing?

As far as the budget goes, if I'm guessing right, they have spared no expense. Just look at the drama...........

I watched Sharknado at the theater with the Mystery Theater guys doing the rifftrax live on the screen. AWESOME!
I watched Sharknado 2 Wednesday, and even though there was no riffing, I still laughed hardily all the way through it.
The best part is Ian Ziering being SO serious in EVERY single scene. So much bad acting, horrible CGI effects and cliches all in one place!
Another high point: Ted (Robert Hays) from the movie Airplane was flying the plane in the first part of the movie.

I must admit, I am a sucker for a movie so bad, it's good. Syfy has been doing these for years and some are better (or is that worse) than others. This one just happened to get more viewers for some reason. I haven't seen all of either Sharknado or Sharknado 2 but the parts I have seen were hilarious!

The sad part is, some of the actors realize it's camp and are working with that and winking at the audience like, "It's cool. I'm in on the joke.", then there are some that you can just tell are really doing the best "acting" that they can.

And for the nay-sayers, just remember: everything is better when you add alcohol!:Oo:

I think I'd have to have an MST3K experience to watch it. I can watch "so bad it's good" stuff, but it takes some motivation because, deep within, I'm thinking, "What kind of productive things could you be doing with this hour and a half?" You know, like watching something educational, like Naked and Afraid.

Had a family night viewing of Sharknado 2 again! Even better the second time!

....Holy Crap!....NOW I understand the rabid fan base for these flicks...they are so excruciatingly bad-they are perfection itself!....watched them both last night, and all the asides and sight gags were priceless...gotta love Judd Hirsch....
