Me too, me too, me too . . .I think he's gong to go in another directions . . .

I hope so . . .I think it's time.

ME TOO!

I love this guy and Stephen is the reason why I know of him. Some think they hate each other. I don't.
My favorite sK quote is from an old interview with Leslie Stahl. She questions that he says he's never read Jane Austen. He responds, "But I've read almost everything Dean Koontz has written."

Noticed this on Amazon-- a listing for a Dean Koontz novel called Secret Forest, due out in July 2015. (?????) No cover or anythin. If this is true, it's really odd because all of the attention has been on Ashley Bell-- a novel not due out until 2016. Something seems suspicious.

Secret Forest (Ivy Elgin Trilogy): Dean Koontz: 9780007518067: Amazon.com: Books
....and I'm on his e-mail list, plus I get his quarterly newsletter-no mention of any such book.....this has an odor of BS...

Remember we only got a few months notice about when The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon was being released?

Ive always viewed Koontz work as "Quantity" over "Quality"...Ive read some of his books and most that I read were duds (IMHO) with weak plots, non-believable characters (and especially character traits), and juvenile sequences. There were many that started off great with so much potential but took a turn for the worse ( for example "TickTock")..........

....However, this doesnt mean that I disliked all his work: The "Odd Thomas" Series was fabulous - great plots ( at times a bit 'out there' but Ill grant his Creative Licence), great characters, and decent storytelling....Another book, "Phantoms", was also very good and I was surprised how much SK's book written a decade later, "Desperation", was similar to it in various ways

I'd rather have Koontz write less books but more "Odd Thomases"
