She gets to stay in the marriage home, and she got the restraining order, meaning that he can't come within a hundred yards of his own house.

Here, these things are almost automatic with an accusation of spousal abuse.

The woman gets to stay in the home and the guy is not allowed to go near her. (Not sure what happens if it's the man who was the victim.) The guy can apply to get permission to enter the home to pick up personal stuff, with a police escort.

And if the woman decides she does not want to stay in the home, the man is still not allowed to stay there. Not until a judge allows it.

I'm not buying that Johnny Depp is abusive until I see some real actual evidence. If it's proven that he is or has been, I'll never speak of him again.....but until that time, I'm not buying it.

So... if somebody is so horribly abusive, possessive, chemically altered, or whatever else she might be alleging, why did she turn around and marry him?

She has hastily removed the picture.

And the trauma hasn't stopped her from spending his money while he's gone. She was spotted at Tiffany's on Thursday, bruise-free and happy as a lark.

But many sightings in the following days, including a trip to Tiffany's - and to court - show no bruises.

Yeah. Officially, it's named "Little Hall's Pond Cay" but he calls it F*ck-Off island. When asked what he does there, he smiles and says "Absolutely nothing." That's his sanctuary, where he can shut the world out.
Except that now, it's on the chopping block along with everything else he owns.

The good news is, though, that it looks like they'll both keep whatever they came into the marriage with and split down the middle only the earnings and accumulations that occurred during the marriage.

She's asking for $50,000 a month in spousal support, but that was denied by the temporary court. It remains to be seen if she's awarded spousal support or if the poor thing will have to make do with whatever millions she gets in the divorce.

Breaks my heart, I tell ya. A lot of hard-working people in this world don't earn 50 grand a year.

It seems that both his former wife and his former girlfriend are saying that Johnny would never lay a hand on a woman or any living creature. They say he is a gentle human being who loves animals and has compassion for everyone. I tend to believe them because they were sincere enough to give credit where it is due. I do not follow movie stars cause I do not watch that media but I have seen clips from that pirate movie...I loves me some pirates. Mr. Depp is quite hot as a pirate, methinks. I think it is very alright to still respect him. The accuser seems to be the lying kind. So Sunny enjoy your pics my dear.

Gotta say it, been holding back.

Vanessa Paradis, Johnny's ex of 14 years and mother of his 2 children... the woman he left to be with Heard... has written a letter defending Johnny against Heard's allegations of abuse.

Looking like he hadn't slept in days, Johnny told his friends that Amber had threatened to smear him in the press if he didn't give her everything she wanted. And voila. That very night, she called the police to accuse him of abuse. The cops found no evidence to support the claim. The next day, after he voluntarily left the country to give her space, she floods the press with a picture of a "bruise" to make him look like a monster. Just like she said she would.

It's about money and spitefulness, not abuse.

1. Oh. This is really interesting. In 2008, Heard married her longtime girlfriend Tasya Van Lee and even changed her name to Van Lee.if that union was never legally dissolved, either Heard is a bigamist, or the marriage to Johnny never happened. Either way, little miss sunshine is in for a very rude awakening. And Johnny comes out smelling of roses.

I have no idea what did or did not happen between Johnny and his current soon-to-be-ex.

But

I knew three other girls who dated a guy I dated. I believe them when they say he never hit them. He never threatened them. He never raped them. I believe them. But that does not mean he didn't do those things to me.

I admire Vanessa for coming forward (I actually do believe her, that he was never violent to her). However, if doesn't alter whether or not anything happened with anyone else.
