I've just come across something quite bizarre, yet intriguing... I hear that Bruce Willis will be starring in a theatre production of Misery. I cannot quite wrap my head around the idea. Does anybody know any details by any chance? And any thoughts on this? I am not even sure if I'm posting this in the right section, but couldn't find word of it anywhere else :)

I don't think it's any more bizarre than James Caan playing him.

That's funny - a poster was just asking you about the rights to this. And you did not even..:zip_it:

:smile2:
To be honest, I didn't know about it until yesterday when Steve told me but I couldn't say anything then. I knew Warner Bros. had restricted the stage rights because it had come up from a previous request outside of the Board to do a stage adaptation a few months back. :smile2:

...kinda my first thought as well...but here's what I wonder, how are they gonna work all the explosions and high body count into the performance?...
You know, that's the first thing that popped into my mind too. It's like trying to imagine Dolores Claiborne directed by Michael Bay (all judgement reserved though, I promise!).

If Michael Bay had directed Delores Claiborne there would be nothing left of Little Tall Island except for a few rocks for the seagulls to crap on. ;-D
