This was in the 80-ties...... Dont know if i can manage a video. I have the whole play on video but am not sure how to show just a bit. Not technical savvy with this. Is it difficult to copy just a part?

I bet that would be a difficult process involving aged equipment.
Too bad for us!

Aha! I have a "Did You Know?"
Did you know we are the lucky ones? We could do wild and crazy things pre-cell phone with camera days, and the odds of any of our friends having a camera loaded with film to capture us in the moment were nil. Sometimes I think it's sad that I don't have pictures of me with my friends as a teen, but mostly I'm grateful.

I agree. This is why I'm not on Facebook. Always maintain plausible deniability! Something SwiftDad taught me when I was a SwiftPup!

Could not agree with this more.

In my wild, misspent youth, it was a common occurrence for my friends to come up to me chuckling and shaking their heads at some shenanigan I had been up to the previous evening in a less-than-sober state.

I thank my lucky stars every day that I got almost all of that out of my system before everybody started walking around with video cameras in their pockets.

Yes I do.

the times have certainly changed, for the good or worse not sure. for instance if any of you remember the movie breakfast club. in todays times would the breakfast club ever have happened. I doubt it. they all would have been just sitting there on their phones in their own world. think of the relationships that would have never been formed. all that happened that day that would have never took place. the crossing of social boundries btw the thug, the jock, the nerd, the princess would have never had a chance to be broken thru. yea I will say for the worse.

I would agree with the premise that none of those kids would even be aware that there were other kids in the room today -- beyond texting their "friends" about all the pathetic losers they were stuck with in detention. But I think it's also fair to say that The Breakfast Club was not a very accurate depiction of how kids from different social strata (at least as regards high school) would have interacted, even then.

Not that stories are necessarily supposed to mirror the times they portray, but I always saw that movie as more of a fashion show than anything else.

I can remember pulling up squid occasionally while fishing for cod and mackerel off Gloucester when I was a kid. I never saw any with teeth, but they were kind of a pain to get off the line because they would wrap around your hand and they had so many legs that you couldn't pull them off fast enough with one hand.

I'm not really down with cruelty to animals I'm not going to eat, but it would often become necessary to bash their little heads against the side of the boat to make them let go.

Sex in a Box?

That sounds like a sure fire hit - must have helped to improve sales dramatically.
