Once all this clears, I will be asking for a new card with a different number.
No suspicious activity so far.
On the credit card site, it had the name of that place as a website. I went to it, and it is all about different emails. Home email, and business email. Didn't make a lot of sense to me.
I had got an email from the credit card company a few days ago that they were investigating the claim. I guess they found out the same thing I did.
They got on it pretty fast I think. It is Bank Of America. They have a great rewards program also!

Hey pegasus216 !

Glad to hear you will get your money back.

I wanted to thank you for starting the thread. It saved me some aggravation this past week. I got that cruddy window on my computer at work. (On Yahoo! with the message and phone number, etc.GEE.DEE, thing wouldn't close or let me do anything.)

And thanks to Nottie not_nadine who posted "Ctrl+Alt+Del" . I did just that and voila! Crappy window went away.

(((hugs pegasus216 )))

Sig, that wouldn't work for me. So I backed up to an earlier date, and that got rid of it. No problems since.
One of the scammers that I talked with was really nasty. He said for me to just let my computer crash if I didn't want to pay for their help.
I don't know if anyone uses AOL or not any more Doc. I know I don't know of anyone who does.
