I would if they'd let me. A hug is about all they can stand. My boy is the sweetest, but he cringes if I try to kiss him. My kids are 23, 14 and 11 though. Years ago they let me kiss them all I wanted. They even kissed back. I miss those sweet toddlers.
I used too, but they are adult men now and nope, only hugs now.
Yes, I kiss my daughter (11) on the lips. I also kiss my Mom and Dad on the lips. It's not for everyone, but it's not really an issue
My 9 year old likes kisses on the lips, still, but the others are 'too big'. 21 went through a stage where he wouldn't even accept hugs (and I've never thought a kid should have physical intimacy forced on them), but now he's okay with it. He never was a hugger, though--he'd lean his head on you & that was a 'Josh hug'. When he wants 'cuddles', he asks for his back to be scratched

My son is older (20). He likes hugs.but kisses on lips are not something he likes from mom.

It must be a cultural difference, but it's difficult for me to imagine kissing children, even my own (if I had any), on the lips. My parents never did it, though I'm seeing that it's not necessarily such a strange habit.
When they were babies, little kids. But as they get older, kisses move to the forehead and cheeks. I'll still smooch my kids on the face, but not on the lips.
No. It's not a bad thing, but just isn't part of my culture.
Nah, i just give my son a hug now and then, he's getting too old for kisses, except from his mom.

...no, not anymore...as very young children, my two boys would kiss me on the lips-but now, it's a kiss on the cheek and they always tell us they love us....they are 21 and 19 and have no embarrassment in front of their peers of doing so...
Not since he was a toddler. Hugs and forehead and cheek kisses are acceptable even though he is 22. Never too oldfor Mom hugs.

We used to kiss our son on the lips when he was a little kid. Some time between...5-7 years old (?) it changed to a peck on the cheek. I don't remember how it happened (I would have thought for sure I would remember it.) it just did.
(Our cultural thing, no matter what age, our kids always wait for our blessing. Going to off to school, work, out of the house ... if we don't say it right away they will wait for our, "God bless you." I always await my elders "Dios te bendiga"
