Hi everybody! Actually, I am not a "newbie" in horror/SF/fantasy; I have several published books, but they are not in English. I've got a lot of good reader responses, and some of them, yes, compared me with Stephen King 
The American fiction market, however, seems impenetrable for me. Only one my SF story was published in a pro-level magazine so far; you can read it here: The Farm by George Right - I am tired - like probably many writers are - of waiting for months for receiving one more rejection letter which never explains what's wrong, so I just stopped trying. In our internet times after all, a writer can reach readers directly without paying to intermediaries like publishers and agents. If you liked the short story above, you may want to read another my story which is completely different (not SF but realistic and serious, while still dark).
