Is that docu on Netflix? I saw The Serpent and the Rainbow when I was quite young, so don't remember much more than being scared shyteless! :)
Ayuh. It's "ZOMBIES: (something something)" I'll see if I can find the exact name--give me a sec. :)

EDIT: ZOMBIES: When The Dead Walk. Dumb name, but pretty interesting show.

Can't remember if he's ever mentioned it or commented publicly but maybe someone else's memory is working better than mine.

From my essay "The Genius Fallacy: The Shining’s 'Hidden' Meanings" in The Shining: Studies in The Horror Film --

When asked about the theories espoused in Room 237, he said the following: “These are tinfoil hat people seeing all this stuff. I watched about half of it and got impatient with the whole thing” (qtd. in Goldberg). Later, during an interview with Colin McEnroe, he said, “For me it was like a two-hour compilation of people who see Jesus in a taco.”

And who doesn't want to see Jesus in a taco?

Has anyone seen Room 237 or Beware of Mr. Baker? If so, what did you think? I was considering giving them a watch on Netfilx this weekend.

Hey DiO!

I watched Room 237. I was way more intrigued with the people who saw *clues* here there and everywhere. Have mercy. If I'm not mistaken, a couple of people watched the movie dissecting it frame by frame. Nope.

The Day the 60's Died. I knew about the Kent State shooting/killing but I had no idea everyday Americans were happy HAPPY the college students had been killed. (One June Cleaver female tells a reporter MORE students/protesters should have been killed. :O_O:) (That hurt my heart.)

Richard Pryor: Icon I enjoyed it but the only thing I learned was the 5-7 second live television delay? It was due to Richard Pryor. Lorne Michales from SNL wanted Richard Pryor on the premier of SNL. NBC was HIGHLY reluctant so...the 5-7 second delay was born. Cool.

Magical Universe. This was the damn saddest documentary ever. I am really depressed. Odd, sad, lonely, creative?, creepy old man and his Barbie dolls.
