Not sure what to think of that article. Do dogs really need to go to a deli, if they have foods they can't eat then surely the vet will suggest what they can. Just think that this is an unnecessary expense but then I suppose there will be people out there who love their pets that much who will be willing to pay.

This quote is dumb:

"A store this decadent gives the impression that we do more for animals than for children," charged Wolfgang Buescher, of the "Ark" charity, which works with disadvantaged minors.

Can't people do both? How many "kid" things are there in the world? Hello, Chuck E Cheese!!! And who cares if I want to spoil my animal? What a jerk.

I like it. I'd get stuff for my cat there.

Shasta - I have to agree. You do have a good point there.

I don't own a dog (currently) but I like the fact that owners can sit there and drink coffee with their pooches. It sounds very civilized.

That was what I liked about Scotland and the Isle of Arran - you were allowed to bring your dog into the pub, even if it was not a "seeing eye" or service dog!
