Me too. I usually don't bother with buying TV shows. I'm usually over it by the time the show is over. This is an exception. BBC is like that. They put crack in their air waves! Danged Brits.
This guy I work with loves BBC as much as I do. He in all seriousness once said that if the English had won the Revolution, that we would have way better TV shows in this country. I laughed at him and he didn't understand why. =D
Well, if it's not there tomorrow, I'm gonna try not to be too upset. I let stuff like this get the best of me and it's not worth the anxiety. If it's meant to be...
Just hope if I don't snag it, it is bought by someone who will really enjoy it and not some schmuck who just wants to sell it on ebay.

I got my hubby watching this show with me now. but he needs to see the first two seasons. i best draw them out from the library.

I only made it through the first three seasons before we got rid of cable. You guys are making me think I should go check out the other seasons at the library :p
Of course I think you should. The first three seasons were really very good. Lots and loads of drama and suspense. It's actually cooled down some these last few seasons.

I know I do that too. ;;D
I think Thomas is sincere about teaching Daisy's young man how to read, and I'm thinking more and more that Thomas will wind up as the new butler. I'm also thinking there might be some romance brewing with Patmore and Daisy's father in law... can't think of his name.
I'm thinking Mary and Edith will wind up mending their relationship, becoming close friends. Now that Mary is starting to catch on about Marigold, she may see Edith in a different light. Especially since Edith has stopped being an unbearable brat... for the most part.
The rest, well I'm too wishy washy about everything else to foresee what else I think will happen.

Yes...to everything!

Skimom, you shouldn't need cable to watch. We have an antenna and watch it on the local PBS station. Only downfall is we have to watch it "live" (no DVR). A couple times the show has been on when the hubby wanted to watch football, but then we just paid a few bucks to watch the following night on Amszon.

It was still there!! Plus they had seasons 4 & 5 (didn't see those yesterday, so maybe they were new and just put on the shelf). Got all 5 seasons plus a bonus disc, all on Blu-ray for $35. :)

We've been discussing buying an antenna, but we haven't done it yet. What type do you have?

Wasn't the best. This season is slacking a bit but still watching.

Same here.
The one thing I did like about last night's show...
was Thomas crying. You can't expect to spend over a decade being a conniving ******* liar and suddenly when you finally tell the truth and do something nice, think people are going to believe you.

We bought an RCA one in 2014. It was under $30. I think we get up to a dozen local channels, 3 of which are PBS, which is basically all I use it for.
Is it a roof mount, or a wall/attic mount? We do miss PBS, and The Man loved Big Bang Theory, which we can't get now (Hulu and CBS must have some issue--not many newer CBS shows pop up).

Oh no, not mounted at all. It plugs directly into the TV and is a flat shiny rectangle of plastic about the size of a notebook. It sits on our entertainment center and if there's a channel that's not getting great reception, we rotate it a bit and no further issues. The picture with the antenna is actually better than the picture we got when we had digital cable service.

Those work really well. My neighbor has one and she loves it. I got it for her for watching my cats as she wouldn't take any money. I paid 10 bucks for it at Big Lots. It gets all local channels and PBS, it gets some weird UHF? type channels too. Old classic movie channels etc. It's worth a try.

I'm liking this season so far. It's tying up loose ends and ending stories. It's not as exciting as previous seasons though, I'll grant that. And as 80's fan said in an earlier post about Mary's hair... Well I can't stop seeing Willie Wonka.
So is Tom going to get in an accident and die because he's just going to have to race? He better not! I'm wondering if Lady Wonka's new boyfriend is going to eat some dirt.

There are a couple "unique" channels I've never heard of lol.

Everytime she wears a hat!
And I've never considered the dcenarios in your spoiler, but I hope not, I adore that character (the first one you mentioned).

Boy howdy, if I didn't already think that living with someone before you got married was a good idea, Carson would have changed my mind. Hubby knew I couldn't cook long before we made our marriage legal lol.

I have more questions :(

What is Carson's problem with Barrow? And why does he think it's any of his business that Barrow came out of Andrew's room?

And what is Daisy's problem with Mrs Patmore and Mason?

And who is the guy who appears forth from the left in the photo? And does he have something to do with whoever it is who went to prison?
