I've been bingeing Doctor Who, just ended season/series six ..... this show has evolved to rival LOST or any other show that's come out recently in complexity, character-development, even quality of special effects and cinematography ... it has become anybody's top-drawer and it's a thrill (I have seen some of the episodes all along when they aired but not all of the seasons/series)

I actually have several boxfuls of vhs tapes of the old series, but there are many gaps, and there's somebody who posted the other epis on Vimeo, but there were so many to catch up on, and they're someone else's not mine (I prefer to own it myself) that I haven't kept up with the backlog. But I now have all nine series of the new, and here I go .... I have returned, where Gallifrey never died .....

Why does the android say that Rose is compatible?


The androids are waiting for Reinette to be 37 to be compatible. Rose is much younger.

But more importantly, the ship is called Madame de Pompadour. How does Rose fit in that?
