I see we have some insomniacs on here. Can't let the early birds feel neglected!
I used to be able to stay up until all hours but since I've "matured" it 'aint happening.
I work 4 10 hour days, my alarm goes off at 4:40 am. My pajamas are on and I'm in those sheets by 8:30-8:45 to get a little reading time in before the lights go out at 9:30. Sometimes sooner.
Please tell me I'm not the only one...

Also, I mean no offense to the insomniacs. I hope you all get some sleep!

Hubby is up between 3:15 and 3:30 on work days. I don't always make it up when he gets up, but I am up when he leaves, around 4:30. Even on his days off, if I sleep til 7, that is sleeping in.

Most nights I am past ready for sleep by 8, but try to hold out til 9. ;-D We were just talking about this last night, must mean we're getting old, going to bed so early! ;)

More of an early bird by nature although it's a lot easier in the summer. I'm able to wake up on my own most days between 5:30 and 6. Hate sleeping past 7--that's my idea of sleeping in. In bed between 10-10:30 although last night it was 11:25 before I realized what time it was as I was involved in a quilt design project. Still got up at 6 without the alarm clock this morning, though.

Lol, yes! That's exactly how I feel. At one point in life(my 20's-30's ;-D)I couldn't imagine being home on a Friday night. Gasp! Must go out to the clubs! Now I can't wait to get home, sit in the recliner, eat junk food, and zone out in front of the TV.
And WOW, your hubby has to get up waaay too early! Do you mind me asking what he does?

He is a mechanic/welder in a coal mine. 12 hour shifts, which start at 5:30. But has to get there early enough to get changed, and the line out for the day happens before "official" clock in.

He is home for dinner though, his mine is 15 min from home. Used to work much farther away, and he wouldn't get home until around 8 pm, and still up and around at the same time. Much better now!

Me! I can sleep anytime, but, work dictates that I'm early to be early to rise!

I normally get up around 6:30 am - even though I work from home and don't have to be "at work" until 8:00 am.
But I'm rarely up in the middle of the night because I can't sleep (I am SO BLESSED in that way!)
